Last year one of my mom's friends had a live nativity at her barn in New Harmony. We took Addie and thought it was so darn cute. This year, the friend was out of town for the holidays, so we borrowed her cutest little donkey ever and did our own... Right on my parents front lawn! And can I just tell you that it was the most adorable thing in the history of 300 East christmas eves. We invited all the neighbor kids to join in on the action and they spread the word to all the neighbors. We had a really good turnout. And despite some less than satisfactory rehearsals, the kids did great! Afterwards, Kenny busted out his guitar and we sang some Christmas songs. Definitely got us in the right mood for Christmas.
