Today was miss Adelaide's birthday!
We snuck balloons in her bedroom at night and she was so excited when she woke up.
She usually yells our names, but instead we heard "It's Balloons!!"
She played around in the balloons for a little and then grabbed one and ran in the living room to show her dad, where another surprise was waiting...
She was so excited and it was fun watching her bounce around.
Ray and I got her the tricycle, and my parents got her the fourwheeler.
I thought once she got the fourwheeler, our little tricycle would be chop liver. But she actually rides one and then runs over and rides the other. She is much better at riding the fourwheeler, though (at least at getting it to go--she struggles with steering).
We were mean parents and tied her binky to one of the balloons and set it loose outside. I was going to wait until the day after, but Ray got a little excited. So we ended up doing it right before breakfast. Hence the tears in this picture...
She got over it, though, and is actually doing pretty darn good with out it. Hallelujah!
The day before her birthday, we were in St. George. Ray's grandma was visiting and she is seriously one of the sweetest people ever!
We went to Pasta Factory for dinner and then stopped and grabbed some cupcakes on the way home so that they could sing "Happy Birthday" to Addie.
Have you ever been to the "Sweet Tooth Fairy"? You should go. These cupcakes were sooo yummy!!
It took her about three tries to blow the candle out, but she finally got it!
So Happy, Happy Birthday to our little sweetheart!
We love you!!

So cute!! Happy late birthday Addie!
